Donations to the Jasper Legion
All donated funds are monitored/controlled by the Executive of the Jasper Legion. Exec listing at bottom of page.
Thank you to everyone, our community, businesses and people far and wide that supported us though donations for the purchase of food and keeping us going during that challenging time of the towns return. Your support allowed us to feed upwards of 1000 people some meals. We have ended that program to allow for the town to get back to jobs and support our local economy in recovering.
After the meal program ended, we have continued feeding Team Rubicon, our local Firefighters, and our visiting/hosted First Responders with breakfast, lunch and supper. This also will be coming to an end on the 22nd of September.
The Jasper Royal Canadian Legion will then return to our normal operations, and continuing our mission as a Legion, a Non-Profit and supporting Veterans and our Community. Any donations received after the meal program finishes will be directed to support our continuing mission the same as it has for over 100 years. We engage in scholarships, youth sport, mental health programs, veterans outreach, our veterans adventure program, community support, and maintain a community Legion/Hall for the benefit of the Jasper Community.
We remain an active Service Organization in Jasper, working from our Legion in support of Veterans, and our Community.
Donations that are noted as Veteran/First Responder Housing Program will be directed towards that project.
